This electronic download of the Panasonic i-VMD License is intelligent video-motion-detection extension software for select Panasonic security cameras. It can detect up to 8 objects at once and will display this information in the software on live images, providing readouts of the data. It offers four distinct modes, each of which will send an alarm when its settings are tripped.
Intruder mode allows you to configure an intruder detection area where an alarm will be sent when a moving object enters the area for at least 2 seconds. Loitering mode works in a similar way except that it will only trigger an alarm when the object is detected for 10 seconds or more. A Direction mode is also available which works by setting up an area and direction which will issue an alarm when an object moves into the area and in the specified direction. A fourth mode is a Scene Change mode, this will help issue an alarm when the camera is covered up or the direction is changed to a different subject.
