The VZ-08HyDVR-3 from ViewZ is a Hybrid Digital Video Recorder capable of recording 8 channels, 3 TB. In addition, 2 USB ports (1 front and 1 rear) are provided to connect an external hard drive or a USB flash drive (both not included) to backup data from the internal storage. The 8-channel DVR supports recording Full HD video at 15 fps (per channel) and 960H resolution video via analog input at 30/25 fps (NTSC/PAL) per channel. It uses H.264 video compression format, which allows for enhanced recording capacity and low bandwidth consumption. The Hybrid DVR provides live viewing and playback via the included CMS software, Web viewer, or downloadable free viewer app for iOS (iPhone and iPad) or Android smartphones. Remote setup and upgrade are supported via the CMS software and Web Viewer.
