NVT NV-1672 16 Channel Digital EQ Active Receiver Distribution Amplifier Hub
The NV-1672 from NVT is a 16-Channel DigitalEQ Hub that allows the transmission of full-motion monochrome or color video for distances up to 1 mile (1,6km) using Category 2 or better-unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) wire. The NV-1672 from NVT continuously and automatically conditions the video signal, compensating for cable attenuation, wiring polarity, ground loops, and voltage transients, independent of video signal content. In NV-1672 Ground-lifting ensures no annoying “hum-bars” when ground-potential differences exist. The unparalleled interference rejection and low emissions of the NV-1672 allow long run video signals to co-exist in the same wire bundle as telephone and datacom and allows the use of shared or existing cable plant. Damaging voltage spike problems are eliminated due to built-in transient protection.
