American Fibertek MX7 Series Overview

The MX7 Series transmits and receives (1) copper 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet signal at the RJ45 port and (1) optical 1000 BASE-X over two optical fibers. The system is designed to be completely transparent with an auto-negotiation feature that automatically configures the unit for the correct speed (10/100/1000BASE-T). Auto MDI/MDIX operation eliminates the potential need for crossover cables. Diagnostic indicators provide a quick visual indication of system status. Equipment may be used alone or mounted in the RC7-14 subrack.
