The Camden CM-84BB-BLK is the 4.5"-wide aluminum surface back box (BB) for Camden's CM-84 series Side Load Column push plate switches, in black anodized finish, packaged as a retrofit kit for adding the CM-84 column switch to a surface installation without cutting into a wall. The Side Load Column switch design allows activation from any angle along the 3" wide activation plate — meeting accessibility codes that require activation within a range of heights — and this back box provides the clean surface-mount housing that makes it possible to mount the CM-84 series without an in-wall electrical box.
