The 4531-35-201-628 from Adams Rite is a standard duty deadlatch with radius faceplate in clear anodized. The 4531 series Standard Duty Deadlatch offers maximum flexibility of traffic control during and after business hours. A reverse turn of the key (while bolt is held full retracted) retains the bolt, allowing the door to be free swinging with two-way traffic for hospitals, banks, stores, and other buildings requiring free entrance at certain times and exit-only at other times. This deadlatch is designed to fit older cutouts without alteration, but should not be considered an equivalent replacement for maximum security locks.
