The 4511W-15-202-628 series Deadlatch offers maximum flexibility of traffic control during and after business hours. While the bolt is held fully retracted, a reverse turn of the key retains the bolt, allowing the door to be free swinging for two-way traffic. Ideal for hospitals, banks, stores, and other buildings requiring controlled entry and exit, it is easily interchangeable with any MS1850A or MS1850S Deadlock of the same backset and faceplate shape, though it does not provide the same level of security as the MS Deadlock.
