- Spacers are good for tight places. 0 people found this helpfulIf you don't have a nice unobstructed surface to mount a 1045 sensor/magnet, then these spacers make for a good install. Inexpensive. I was able to mount the magnet on a narrow ledge on an overhead door without resorting to a large mounting bracket.
