The DoorKing 1508-014 is the HID ProxPass II (model 1351) active proximity tag for vehicle access control, sold as individual tags for use with DoorKing systems equipped with the MaxiProx long-range reader (1815-395). Unlike passive proximity cards, these are active, battery-powered tags that mount to the interior of a vehicle windshield and communicate with the reader as the vehicle approaches — enabling hands-free, drive-through gate access without the driver needing to present a card or fob.
