The T1240 from Alpha is a Class 2 plug-in transformer designed for quick and easy installation in applications where pigtail-type transformers are impractical or unsightly. It is particularly suitable for use in home or office installations, or in areas where the transformer must be exposed. It can be secured to the electrical outlet with a set screw for secure installation, once plugged in to the wall outlet. A built-in thermal fuse protects these transformers from overheating and igniting. Secondary connections are made to convenient screw terminals. It is U.L. listed for class II indoor wiring.
