The Comnet CNSG2PB is a dual-channel Ethernet surge suppressor providing lightning and transient voltage protection for two Ethernet connections simultaneously, rated for IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 PoE — the highest-power PoE standard, delivering up to 100W at the PSE. This makes it the correct surge protection choice for high-power PoE devices such as PTZ cameras with heaters, illuminators, and other power-intensive network edge devices that the older Type 1/2/3 surge protectors are not rated to pass through safely.
