A splitter is used to split the power and data in an Ethernet cable into two separate cables, which then can be connected to a network device that has no built-in support for Power over Ethernet (PoE). AXIS T8127 60 W Splitter 12/24 V DC enables Axis' network products and accessories, such as Axis' illuminators, media converters etc., to receive 12 or 24V DC with up to 4.5A. The splitter can be powered from any Axis midspan or PoE switch. AXIS T8127 offers an easy, fast and cost-effective solution compared with adding a power supply to your system.
