The MX-D15Di-Sec-DNight-D135N135-FIX-6MP-F1.8 DualDome 6MP IP Camera is a high-resolution camera system that features dual 1/1.8" 6MP CMOS sensors and 23.7mm fixed focal lenses. The image sensors and lenses can be positioned independently in different directions to monitor two different areas with a single camera. The camera ships with a 4GB microSD memory card for onboard storage. Using weatherproof MxBus and MiniUSB camera interfaces allow MOBOTIX interface boxes and standard modules such as UMTS or storage devices (available separately) to be connected directly. The camera also allows recording on external USB drives and can therefore be used in standalone operation with no additional network load. The integrated sensors enable the camera to automatically detect when an event has occurred. If necessary, the camera will respond immediately with an alarm sound and will establish a direct video and sound connection to a control room. The camera software supports easy programming of independent exposure windows, making them suitable for rooms with large glass fronts. An integrated speaker and microphone allow the camera to also be used for bidirectional communication. The camera and connected MxBus modules operate with built-in firmware whose functions can be accessed via the MOBOTIX MxControlCenter, MxEasy remote stations, Web browser via the camera IP address, and MOBOTIX App for iOS. Also integrated in the firmware are functions like motion detection right through to alarm notification via video IP telephony.
