The HT3009-2W from Alpha is a handset designed to work as an apartment type handset intercom station or for industrial and commercial building entry applications. This attractive handset easily surface mounts right on the wall or over a single gang flush electrical back box (or plaster ring). Handset features a textured finish (to minimize scratches and fingerprints), electric buzzer signaling, high-quality (replaceable) coiled cord, and (2) two momentary button switches. This switch is used for door release, paging, or other signaling functions, depending upon system configuration. With the addition of a low-cost Model R2007 AlphaTone™ chime adapter, you can easily change the built-in electric buzzer to a modern warble chime tone sound.
