The HT3009-2T from Alpha is a handset designed to work as an apartment type handset intercom station or for industrial and commercial building entry applications. This attractive handset easily surface mount right on the wall or over a single gang flush electrical back box (or plaster ring). Handset feature textured finish (to minimize scratches and fingerprints), electric buzzer signalling, high quality (replaceable) coiled cord and (2) two momentary button switches. This switch used for door release, paging or other signaling functions, depending upon system configuration. With the addition of a low-cost Model R2007 AlphaTone™ chime adapter, you can easily change the built-in electric buzzer to a modern warble chime tone sound.
