The DoorKing 1833-080 is a robust surface-mounted telephone entry system designed for properties that require secure access control without an on-unit directory display. Ideal for gated communities, apartment complexes, commercial buildings, and industrial sites, the 1833-080 enables residents to manage visitor access via their telephone or mobile device, while offering flexible programming and connectivity options.

Supporting up to 3,000 phone numbers and 8,000 access credentials, the 1833 provides access through touch-tone phone calls, card readers, digital PINs, or wireless transmitters. It is compatible with up to 16 entry points when using DoorKing Tracker expansion boards (sold separately), and integrates with elevator controls and anti-passback functionality for advanced access management.

Programming is handled remotely through the DKS Cloud platform or locally with DKS Remote Account Manager software (free download). Connectivity options include cellular (via DKS 4G LTE service), Ethernet (VoIP), or traditional telephone lines (POTS) — each requiring the appropriate DoorKing interface hardware.
