The ENS NIM-DSTG50-00NIR is a 10 Gigabit SFP+ to SFP+ passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cable, 1.6 feet (0.5 meters) in length — the shortest and most cost-effective way to connect two 10GbE SFP+ ports within the same rack, switch stack, or between two devices within direct arm's reach. Unlike optical transceivers, a DAC cable includes both SFP+ connectors and the copper twinaxial cable in a single passive assembly — no optics, no lasers, no separate fiber patch cords, and no extra power consumption.
