This kit provides a convenient soldering solution for ensuring proper signal integrity in wire connectors and other electrical connections. Manufactured by Portasol, this system uses an efficient butane fuelled catalytic heating system that concentrates the heat at the soldering tip for effective and accurate soldering. The soldering wand has a built-in igniter and an intensity adjustment wheel to allow a range of heat adjustment settings from 10 to 60 watts. The wand uses replaceable tips, flints and fuel supplies.

Our Portasol Soldering Kit include a 7" butane soldering wand with replacement flints, a standard 2.4 mm tip (on the wand) a wider 4.8 mm replacement tip, 1 oz of 60/40 solder along with a protective carrying case for all kit components. The case includes a convenient belt loop so that you can carry the kit with you for ready access on all your installation jobs. If shipment is within the United States, the kit will also include a 1.9 oz refill canister of ultra pure premium butane (54-105 P-1). If shipped out of the United States, you will need to order the butane free kit (54-106 P-2).
