ICC manufactures Category 6 bulk cable for high-performance network cabling systems. This CAT6 Ethernet network cable is made using solid Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable. The conductors are 100% copper and measure at 23 American Wire Gauge (AWG). The wires come in 4 pairs. Each set of twisted paired wires are insulated and brightly colored to help identify the proper color code. The conductor insulation is made of polyethylene, FR-PE, and the cable jacket is made of Polyvinyl Chloride, CMP rated PVC for safety rating. CMP cable is to be run in spaces like raised flooring systems and air handling ducts. Plenum cable must self-extinguish and not reignite. It produces less smoke than traditional PVC cable. The outer jacket of the cable is imprinted with sequential footage markings to help measure and keep track of usage. 1000 feet of CAT6 cable is packaged in a pull-box using the Reelex II patented method of winding to prevent twists, tangles, or snags. A reinforced double-layered carton is used to protect the cable from damage during shipping. The size of the payout tube is large to allow the cable to be easily dispensed. An area for labeling is printed on the box which allows the installer to keep track of usage. This CAT6 bulk cable has a data transmission of 500MHz. It has been tested to exceed the TIA 568-D.2 Category 6 industry performance standard and is UL and ETL rated, which require pure copper in communication cables.
