Pelco DX8100-EXP 16 Channel Expansion Kit For DX8100

The DX8100-EXP from Pelco is an 16 Channel Expansion Kit for DX8100 comes with a basic expansion unit which provides connectivity for up to 16 additional cameras along with alarms and relays. This feature enables you to easily upgrade your existing DX8100 to suit the growth of your enterprise. The Expansion Kit incorporates a capture card that enables you to add 16 video channels. The capture card plays a major role in converting the data from the surveillance cameras into digital information before it can be stored in your DVR. It also allows you to connect an optional 8- or 16-channel audio card to the unit. This 16 Channel Expansion Kit is equipped with a DX8100 I/O card, providing an external interface between the expansion unit and DX8100. The I/O card receives power from the DX8100 and provides power for the DX8100 Expansion Unit, thus eliminating the need for an additional power supply unit. The kit features an expansion cable which interconnects the DX8100 and expansion unit. The 16 Channel Expansion Kit also has two brackets and hardware to mount the expansion unit in a rack.
