The Video Mount Products AK-2 Adapter Kit adapts several of VMP's ceiling mounts so that the ceiling drop can be achieved with standard 1" NPT pipe. This allows for longer ceiling drops (in excess of 60") for a projector or flat-panel display.The AK-2 is intended for use with VMP's VMP042/044, VMP046/048, and LCD-1C ceiling mounts. Use the VMP CP-2 Ceiling Plate (not included) to attach the pipe to the ceiling.
