- junk 1 people found this helpfulI bought this as a replacement for a 10 year old Honeywell Ademco 702 siren - specs and appearance identical to this one. When I unpacked the MG Electronics M85 I immediately noticed it was about half the weight and the wires a much smaller gauge. I connected it to my system and tested. For a short time it sounded but was barely audible. Then it completely stopped - a faint smell of an electrical fire was present near the siren. The purchase price here was $12.10 and shipping was $9.49. For the cost of shipping it back for a refund, it's just not worth it. Going to buy an exact replacement for my siren instead. Lesson learned - you get what you pay for...sometimes even less.
