The VD-501AF 5MP Day & Night Full HD Outdoor Vandal Dome IR Network Camera with PoE & 4mm Lens from Brickcom features a high-performance 1/2.5” sensor and CPU that make it capable of recording in 1920 x 1080 at 30 fps and 2592 x 1944 @ 10 fps. The camera features a 4mm lens, which offers a wide coverage. It can transmit video using MPEG-4, MJPEG, and H.264 codec compression options, which reduce bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality.
The camera features a built-in IR-cut filter, 12 IR LEDs, and an auto light sensor that allow it to provide 24-hour surveillance. In addition, users can view the live feed from virtually anywhere through an Internet browser or on portable 3G devices.
The IP66-rated enclosure ensures dust and water resistance, making the camera weatherproof and suitable for outdoor surveillance. The enclosure is also IK10 rated for protection against acts of vandalism. The DI/DO function allows users to connect external alarms and sensors for added security.
Support for Power over Ethernet enables the camera to receive power through the data/network cable itself, thus simplifying installation by eliminating the need for a separate power supply and associated wiring. The included EasyConfig installation software and 3-axis adjustment further simplify installation. The camera is suitable for use in schools, banks, or corporate office surveillance systems.
