Space Image Resources

July 22, 2009 Lowell Bradford Blog, News & Articles 0 Comments

Space has been fascinating to the entire human race since the beginning of time. People have looked up at the stars and wondered about the things that hang in the sky. Many artists, astrologers, and scientists have been enchanted by the sun, the moon, the other planets, comets, stars, asteroids for centuries.

Due to the advancement of space technology, there are many accurate space images. Now, the planets, moons, stars, comets, and asteroids in the Milky Way can be viewed on a computer in just a few moments. There are also images of planets, black holes and, asteroids taken outside the Milky Way. Here are links to sites that have large archives of space images.

With space stations, special planetary telescopes, and even satellites equipped with surveillance cameras, the world has a wealth of images, which makes the study of astronomy much easier.
