- Great for indoors, not great outdoors 0 people found this helpfulClear pictures, indoor no problems with IR view. Dirt and rain blind this camera at night due to IR glare in the dome. Day works well outside, but I have to constantly clean the domes and some just refuse to provide clear IR due to glare from water stains or dirt. I have even rotated the polycarbonate dome, bought replacement domes, sprayed water repellent on the domes, put the cameras on wall mount arms so they would allow rain to drip to bottom. Glare can not be stopped. I am switching the outside cameras too turret style asap.
