Vivotek, VS8401, 4 CH, H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG Video Server, Up to 30 fps in D1 Resolution

The VS8401 is a 4 channel video server from Vivotek that can provide the conversion of analogue video into high quality digital video through security IP surveillance network operation. The VS8401 video server comes with up to 30fps in D1 resolution, triple codec real-time H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG compression, a 4 channel video and audio input, plus an RS485 interface for PTZ camera control, and a 4 digital I/O for an external sensor/alarm. The VS8401 4 channel server also features an in-built SD/SDHC card slot for on-board storage, a professional rack mount compatible design, as well as supporting a gigabit Ethernet data transmission. This video server is suitable for many applications, and comes easy to setup and install for all operators.

This is also a replacement for VS2403.

I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
