Details

The DD1206 RF Wireless Signal Detector from KJB Security Products is a counter-surveillance device. Unlike sweeping-type devices, it detects modern hidden bugs that use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Such bugs, especially Bluetooth types, are practically undetectable by common RF detectors because of their very low transmitted power and a special type of modulation.

The DD1206 signal detector uses a separate channel (2.44 GHz) frequency pre-selector to detect and locate Bluetooth and Wi-Fi with a much higher sensitivity. The unit then processes the demodulated signal to identify the detected protocol. In addition, the unit can detect all types of conventional bugging devices (FM-modulated transmitters, digital transmitters, GSM bugs, etc). Correlation function discovers FM transmitters where this unit produces a loop-back effect. A microphone transmitter picks up the sound and transmits the beep.

The demodulation display will pick up the transmission and flash simultaneously. Also, when the unit detects other transmissions, different sound comes from the unit that depends on the type of transmission it detects. The extra antenna allows the device to avoid interference from external sources in cities or near broadcasting towers.
