The VG4-523-ETE from Bosch is an IP Dome day/night NTSC camera that includes a system of intelligent, interchangeable modules that allow you to update camera functionality quickly and cost effectively. It comes with an Enviro Assembly enclosure and an IP tinted bubble. The VG4-523-ETE performance, 26X day night PTZ camera that works on a 24 VAC power supply. The VG4-523-ETE is based on five interchangeable modules: the CPU, camera, housing, communications, and power supply.

The VG4-523-ETE can be quickly upgraded from analog to IP, color to day/night by simply swapping one of interchangeable modules. The VG4-523-ETE adapts quickly or inexpensively to your changing needs.The VG4-523-ETE comes with the Ethernet communications module that allows you to add IP functionality while maintaining connectivity to existing analog inputs and outputs. It supports a variety of standard and optional video and data transmission methods, including Bilinx (over coax and UTP), fiber, and even TCP/IP over Ethernet.The VG4-523-ETE is ideal for video surveillance applications. It features the AutoTrack II that includes motion tracking software, built-in image stabilization, motion detection, and a sophisticated alarm handling “rules” engine. I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
