The VCC9800EXS from Sanyo security is a Outdoor, day/night, PTZ high performance camera combines lenses, motorized drives, control systems and housings with newly developed cutting-edge technologies to provide high-precision surveillance matched to a broad range of applications.The VCC9800EXS features a ¼” CCD image sensor and a sensitivity of 1.0 Lux. It comes with a smoked bottom, outdoor pendant. It offers a high resolution of 520 TV lines and 36X optical and 16X digital zoom with a total zoom effect of 576X.The VCC9800EXS makes it possible to capture images at exact points during surveillance with high-speed panning at 435°/sec.

The motor is several times more precise with movement in 0.009 of degree increments. This precise mechanism allows capture of quickly moving objects and objects approaching the camera when it is zoomed in. The VCC9800EXS features an image processing algorithm that is capable of detecting moving objects on the screen and tracking an object automatically.The VCC9800EXS offers an Easy-to-Manage Installation, Setup and Adjustment. The integrated lens, a motor and a pan/tilt mechanism are enclosed within the housing. The VCC9800EXS can be connected to an external door switch or infrared sensor. When an alarm is detected, the camera gives notice by automatically moving to the preset position, zooming in on the image or displaying the alarm on the screen.The VCC9800EXS electronically eliminates the vibration of the camera resulting in blurring. It is also possible to correct for blurring only while continuing camera movement such as pan and tilt. The VCC9800EXS comes with built-in motion sensing function that can be used to detect movement by a target object such as an intruder.

I can’t say enough good things about these guys! They respond quickly to questions and they back up their products. I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
