The Brute® is a discreet, weatherproof camera that features heavy-duty die-cast aluminum housing. It can be flush-, surface-, or cornermounted. A wall/corner-mount bracket is supplied. The Brute is also vandal-resistant, with a durable Lexan viewing window and tamperproof screws. It will withstand temperatures from 14 to 122 °F (-10 to 50 °C). The Brute can be ordered as a black-and-white camera that delivers 580 TV lines of resolution, or a color camera that delivers 480 TV lines of resolution. The black-and-white camera is sensitive to 0.1 lux. The color camera is sensitive to 1 lux. It also features backlight compensation. The Brute's camera can be adjusted inside its housing, and when the wall/corner mount is used, the housing is adjustable as well - making it easy to secure into the desired position. Various lens options are available, including an 8- or 12-mm lens, or a 2.5, 4-, and 6-mm lens pack. The Brute accepts a 10- to 40-VDC / 18- to 30-VAC input voltage input voltage. Easy-to-connect leads facilitate installation.
