How can I use DVR for remote viewing?

You need to connect your DVR to your network with a static IP address, which would allow you to watch your cameras remotely from anywhere in the world. Mostly this type connection is router based and modem based, you will need to get the router/modem by yourself and we don’t sell/provide it.

What is Static IP address and how do I get it?

Static Ip address is a permanent identity code for your network to access the network server authentication, It gives you specific identification when you log in to network but if you use a dynamic Ip address so it is not permanent and keeps on changing every time you log off and log in to the internet, So it will be hard to use the surveillance system remotely, So for using our surveillance systems you need Static Ip.

Static Ip is provided by Internet Service Provider if you can not obtain a static IP address you can sign up for a free service online which would allow you to watch cameras using their free services. You can go to their website and sign it up there. www.dyndns.com
