GE Security, SP-POE, PoE 15.4W Splitter (IEEE 802.3af)

The SP-POE is a 15.4W PoE Splitter from GE Security that is designed to easily split 48VDC over the Ethernet cable into a 5V/12VDC power output. The SP-POE splitter is able to help in limiting cost that may be associated with additional AC wiring and long installation time with its compatibility and functionality with power source IEEE 802.3af equipment allowing for the SP-PoE to minimize restrictions that may occur due to the power outlet’s location. Once this splitter is installed into place a system administrator only needs to use a single Ethernet RJ-45 cable to easily transmit data and power to each selected devices.

I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
