The SNC-CS50N from SONY is a Fixed-Angle Network Color Camera which has multi-codec capabilities supporting JPEG/MPEG4 compressions to increase flexibility and optimize bandwidth usage, as compared to earlier cameras.
The SNC-CS50N is also designed for high resolution "look-ins" under a broad range of lighting conditions. It utilizes a high performance 1/3-inch SuperExwave™ CCD that operates on a minimum of 0.4 lux. The supplied lens has a variable focal length ranging from 3mm to 8 mm.The SNC-CS50N incorporates the latest image processing technology to provide multiple compression formats. Together with the variety of key features for surveillance and remote monitoring, such as Day/Night function, to provide clear images even in low light conditions.
