The REG-D1-816XE-01 is a license plate camera from Bosch designed with an LED illumination for capturing license plates, as well as identifying models and colors of vehicles in all kinds of weather conditions during a 24 hour day. The REG-D1-816XE-01 license plate camera reader comes with an IP66 NEMA 4 rating, an operational life of 5 years-typical, compatibility with DVRs and NVRs, plus a license plate camera resolution of 600 TV lines, and an energy efficient low voltage operation. The REG-D1-816XE-01 license reader also features a 16mm mono lens, a 5 to 50mm color lens, a 12 to 24V AC or DC power input, as well as an 80 to 100 feet operational distance, and a color overview camera resolution of 480 TV lines. This license plate reader has been made from high grade materials, has an easy installation feature, is compact in size, plus has an 850nm infrared illumination and ambient rejection technology for the handling of poor lighting conditions. The camera is able to capture the plate license images of vehicles moving at up to 100 mph, making it a suitable choice for locations such as border control, areas associated with parking lots, traffic flow surveillance, after event investigations, ANPR, and security access control.

I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
