The EV-8500N 500GB, 8 Channel Digital Video Recorder provides optimal performance for enhanced surveillance and security. This DVR consists of an Embedded Linux Operating System with an inbuilt multiplexer and a simultaneous triplex record/playback/network function. The EV-8500N also comes with an MPEG-4 compression method, multiple video outputs and a user friendly graphic menu for easy set up and control. It also features an inbuilt DVD-RW backup device and allows for time synchronization between multiple digital video recorders. The EV-8500N is NTSC and PAL supported, comes with an IR Remote control for controlling 99 DVRs or less and is RS-422/485 for compatibility with PTZ Speed Dome Cameras and Controller Keyboards.
