The NPLII-MC from KERI is an EntraGuard No Phone Line Entry System that ties each card to the building's phone system. The NPLII-MC uses an existing phone line as a means of direct communication with individual suites (rather like an intercom) to control building access. It does not dial out to a telephone company system. The NPLII-MC replaces old or costly hard wire intercoms and eliminates monthly phone bills. It is used in conjunction with the VF, PM4, PM5, and Advantage Series EntraGuard Telephone Entry Control Systems or a standard touch tone phone. The NPLII-MC features Call Waiting, Distinctive Double Ring, Capacity of up to 1,536 Users, EEPROM Memory, 4 Programmable Relays, Touch Tone and Rotary Operation and No Monthly Phone Bills. The NPLII-MC is ideal for housing authorities, apartment complexes, and office buildings.
The panel is constructed of a vandal resistant 16 gauge stainless steel cover with back box.The NPLII-MC Master Controller – a No Phone Line System allows the user to eliminate charges for local calls (in areas where local phone charges apply). It intercepts calls generated within the building from any Entraguard product, and reroutes them through internal circuits, to the desired phone extension eliminating the phone company from the call. The NPLII-MC is the hub of the system with expander cabinets networked off of it. It can handle 16 expander cabinets. Each cabinet comes complete with its own power supply.

I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
