The 500252 is a Component Video Hub from Muxlab which is able to offer high quality operation with up to 16 ports that allow for 1 digital/analog audio video source and 1 full component video source to be distributed up to 8 or 16 destinations via a cat5 cable. The 500252 video hub comes with 2 cascadable levels, a -23 @ 4MHz video return loss, a -60 dB @ 4 MHz cross talk immunity, a modular RJ45 input/output support, a wide operating temperature, as well as LED diagnostics, 480i/p support for a 1000ft distance range via a Cat5 cable, 720p/1080i/p support for a 500ft distance range via a cat5 cable, transparent transmission, plus support for combined/digital L/R analog audio channels. I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
