MuxLab, 500024, CCTV Power-Thru Balun RJ45

The 500024 is a CCTV power-thru RJ45 balun from Muxlab which is capable of providing the transmission of two wire PTZ control and remote power via 1 4-pair category 5 cable removing the need for a multiple cable installation when installing a CCTV surveillance and security system. The 500024 balun is able to offer support for other Muxlab devices including the 500015, 500009, 500023, and the 500000, plus is able to offer up to a 2200 video distance range, a 500ft remote power, and a transparent transmission. The 500024 balun also features a DC to 8 MHz bandwidth, a 40 dB @ 8 MHz common mode rejection, a 15dB return loss, a 2dB insertion loss, plus a wide operating temperature. This high quality device is able to offer simple installation, and provides a quality operation for use within many applications.

I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
