The Maxim3R from Altronix is an access power controller that provides a total of sixteen fuse protected Fail-Safe and/or Fail-Secure outputs along with selectable fire alarm interface selectable by output.The Maxim3R unit includes one power supply/charger which is 12VDC or 24VDC @ 6 amp, 115VAC input, AC and battery monitoring, a 2U rack mount frame for use in standard EIA 19" rack.
The Maxim3R unit distributes and switches power to access control systems and accessories. It converts an 115VAC 60Hz input into sixteen (16) independently controlled 12VDC or 24VDC fuse protected outputs. These power outputs can be converted to dry form “C” contacts.
In Maxim3R, the Outputs are activated by an open collector sink or normally open (NO) dry trigger input from an Access Control System, a Card Reader, a Keypad, a Push Button, a PIR, etc. The unit routes power to a variety of access control hardware devices including: Mag Locks, Electric Strikes, Magnetic Door Holders, etc. The outputs operates in both Fail-Safe and/or Fail-Secure modes.The Maxim3R features FACP Interface that enables Emergency Egress, Alarm Monitoring, or may be used to trigger other auxiliary devices. The fire alarm disconnect feature is individually selectable for any or all of the sixteen (16) outputs.

I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
