Ground Loop Isolation Transformer for Dome Housings

The PWBT1621 is a ground isolation transformer which effectively eliminates electrical interference. The PWBT1621 is compatible with Panasonic fixed and unitized cameras
The PWBT1621 is enclosed in a nickel plated steel enclosure and having a female BNC input and output with the shields isolated from the case. The PWBT1621 passes Panasonic's "up the coax" control signals without interference.


The PWBT1621 avoids ground loop problems which can occur anywhere along the video connecting cable. They are caused by a voltage imbalance between the shields at the two ends of the BNC cable.


The ground loop isolator has a midband loss of 0.3dB at 10kHz, 0.1V: isolation of 120dB at 60Hz and a maximum noise voltage of 1000Vp-p at 60Hz.
