The GE-DSG-244 is a 10/100/1000 24 port w/ four shared managed switch from GE Security that is designed to be able to handle large amounts of data while connecting to an enterprise backbone or high-capacity type network server. The GE-DSG-244 4 managed switch comes with 4 mini-GBIC/SFP slots, an RS-232 DB9 console interface, a store and forward switch processing scheme, as well as a 48Gbps switch fabric, and 8K entry support. The GE-DSG-244 managed switch also features Query and Multicasting IGMP Snooping that helps with utilizing bandwidth of larger files, and is completed with a quality construction. This powerful managed switch is suitable for applications where large amounts of data are in use, and can perform at high standards.

I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
