The EX47 camera is a vandal-resistant, fixed dome camera intended for effective, attractive performance in design-conscious environments. Flush Mount design allows both installation ease and pleasing low-profile aesthetics. The EX47 takes advantage of Extreme’s latest imaging technology, including LXR-type CCDs and the innovative photocell-controlled Mechanical Filter cameras. The in-camera VRB cleans and conditions power to allow 12 VDC or 24 VAC operation while providing protection from surges, transient spikes and other electrical irregularities.
The dome is packed with installer-friendly features, including Video Patch Leads (VPL) for “in-situ” video review on portable test monitors. The proprietary Pan-Tilt-Twist gimbal allows versatile positioning of the CCD and lens and instant centering of the video image. Internal fastening hardware is thermally and mechanically optimised for enhanced reliability. EX47 domes are conduit compatible for easy installation onto standard electrical fittings. Varifocal, auto-iris lenses ensure excellent optical performance.
