Channel Plus, ENC-LRM, Advanced Learning Remote

The ENC-LRM from Channel Plus is an Advanced Learning Remote is an infrared remote control for use with Linear's Encore Digital Audio Distribution System. The remote control sends infrared control signals to the infrared receiver in Model ENC-DRS keypads. In addition to controlling the system's power, the ENC-LRM remote can select the audio source, adjust the volume, and mute the sound for the keypad's speaker zone. The six keys at the bottom of the remote are dedicated to operating the Encore system.

This remote control can also be programmed to send IR commands to hundreds of makes and models of audio and video equipment. IR codes can also be "learned" into the ENC-LRM remote control from another manufacturer's IR remote control. The components can then be controlled using a single remote. Three buttons are reserved for macros. Each button can be programmed for an automatic key sequence of up to 19 steps.

The system features IR remote control. An infrared repeater system monitors the infrared receivers at each keypad and repeats the infrared remote control signals to the audio source components through infrared emitters connected to the wall plates.
