The DM-DEC3A-2H8C is a DV-IP decoder from Dedicated Micros which is designed to offer high control and viewing of security cameras attached to digital video recorders and servers from all across the system. The DM-DEC3A-2H8C decoder comes with 8 channels, a 500W internal power supply, Ethernet network connections, instant remote alarm monitoring, 2 x RS232 data ports, as well as 2 x RS485 data ports, and incorporated displays. The DM-DEC3A-2H8C decoder also features multiple network support, MPEG-4/JPEG video streams, user friendly operation, bi-directional audio, plus an embedded operating system. I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
