The 8CSDN500 surveillance package kit is an 8 camera infrared system which is a selection from the Start-up line of systems for customers who are looking for a first time inexpensive security package that can cover a wider area. The 8CSDN500 surveillance package kit is ideal for use in indoor and outdoor applications, and features 8 x Nuvico CD-HD21N-LI Infrared Digital CCD dome cameras, 1 x Nuvico EVL-805N 8 Channel 500GB digital video recorder, 8 x 100ft rolls of power/video combined cable, 1 x 8 channel 24V power supply, and a 8 x wall or ceiling mounting bracket which allows for easy plug and play setup.

The 8CSDN500 surveillance package kit is able to deliver high quality images with its 8 x Nuvico CD-HD21N-LI Infrared Digital CCD dome cameras. The CD-HD21N-LI dome camera features a 1/3” CCD image sensor, day and night functionality with ICR, 550TV lines of high resolution, a 2.9mm fixed lens, as well as a 0.1lux sensitivity ratio, and 16 LEDs with an LED distance of up to 50ft. The CD-HD21N-LI dome camera also comes equipped with an LED angle of 80 degrees, a 48dB signal to noise ratio, a 3 axis gimbal, a 12VDC power supply, as well as a 3” polycarbonate bubble, and a black or ivory housing for easy blending with the surrounding areas.

The 8CSDN500 surveillance package kit also comes with a 1 x Nuvico EVL-805N 8 Channel 500GB digital video recorder which can provide optimal recording capabilities. The EVL-805N digital video recorder features a H.264 compression method, an inbuilt multiplexer, an embedded Linux operating system, multi-main outputs, as well as an IR remote controller which is able to control up to 99 digital video recorders. The EVL-805N DVR also comes equipped with watchdog/power failure recovery, internal SATA HDD bays, an external USB flash drive backup support, triplex function, 1 channel audio with remote over the network, as well as an easy to use GUI (graphic user interface), and RS-422/485 compatibility for use with PTZ cameras and controller keyboards. This digital video recorder also features a compact size which allows for easy setup in small areas, and comes complete with watermark, CMS Lite software, firmware upgrades via USB, 2 user access, multiple PTZ protocols support, and free DDNS support.
