The Nuvico CV-STD21N-L weatherproof surveillance camera is ideal for outdoor security and protection. This camera SIE II camera is able to capture high quality images with high resolution 580 TV lines, as well as with its 1/3" CCD image sensor and DC Auto Iris lens (2.8 -10mm). The CV-STD21N-L comes complete with 34 IR LEDs which can see up to a distance of 100ft in the dark. This camera also comes with a fan and heater option, and an EZ-Coax optional feature. The CV-STD21N-L has a dual voltage of 12VDC/24VAC and is completed with an ivory metal housing finish. This camera is ideal for most outdoor areas that are exposed to the weather.

  • SIE II DSP Chipset

    • Second Generation of the Super Image Enhancer. This chipset enhances the clarity and color accuracy of the picture.
  • 1/3" CCD Sensor

    • CCD stands for Charged Coupled Device and it is one of the most important parts of a camera. It is usually located behind the lens and its primary job is to take an optical image and convert it into a digital signal.
  • High Resolution - 580 TV Lines

    • Referring to chrominance (color) and luminance (brightness) that lies horizontally on the picture. The more lines the better. Having more Lines of resolution will give you more definition and in turn more information.
  • Available DC Auto Iris Lens

    • Auto Iris: The iris is the part of the lens that controls how much is allowed to pass onto the pickup element. If a camera doesn’t feature an auto iris lens the user would have to be adjust the iris manually on the lens to allow more light on the pickup element.
    Vari-focal Lens: A lens that features a manually adjustable focal length giving its user a choice over the cameras field of view. This gives added flexibility to the user.
  • Scanning System

    • The “scanning system” that is standard for NTSC Video. Interlaced video is made up of two fields; and the two fields make up one frame. First the camera will read and display all the even field and then restart and then read and display the odd field. Then stitch the even and odd fields together to make a single frame and then display the frame as a whole.
  • On Screen Display Menu

    • An OSD menu enables you to access all camera functions via the included camera control board. Motion detection, privacy function, back light compensation and white balance included.
  • Day/Night with ICR and DSS OR Day/Night Function

    • ICR is “Infrared Cut Filter Removal”. This function switches between color and B&W with changes in ambient light and ensures precise and accurate color reproduction during the day and enhances B&W images during the night.
  • IR LED Distance

    • An IR LED is short for “Infrared Illuminator”. Infrared light, which is invisible to the human eye, is able to be seen by some cameras. The number of IR LEDs varies from camera to camera and some cameras feature bigger ones than others. The distance of the infrared illuminators are able to cast varies depending on the IR intensity and quantity featured in the camera.
