The DVR automatically self reconfigures every time there is a change in IP address.The DVR in the 4CEV250 also allows a simple plug and play remote monitoring set up using a standard cable modem internet connection without the need for a static IP. It only records necessary pictures making it possible to use the Hard Disk Drive efficiently.
