The 8CSDM500 is an indoor surveillance package kit which has been developed for first time customers who want a complete inexpensive security system at an affordable price. The 8CSDM500 surveillance package kit is able to provide high resolution clear and clean images with its 8 x CANTEK CA-DC380 dome color cameras, 1 x Nuvico 8 Channel EVL-805N 500 GB digital video recorder, 8 x 100ft rolls of combined power/video cable, 8 x wall or ceiling mounting brackets, and 1 x 8 channel 12V DC power supply which allows for easy installation with plug in and play setup.

The 8CSDM500 surveillance package kit is able to provide high quality images with its 8 x CANTEK CA-DC380 dome color cameras. The CA-DC380 dome color camera comes equipped with a 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD image sensor, 510 x 492 effective pixels, 380TV lines of standard resolution, a 3.6mm standard lens, a 3.6 x 2.7mm sensing area, as well as a signal to noise ratio of 48dB, and a 1.0Vp - p75 ohm video output. The CA-DC380 dome camera also features a 0.8lux sensitivity ratio which is ideal for use in low light areas, an inbuilt backlight compensation function (BLC), a high shutter speed for use in changing light conditions, as well as a 120mA power consumption, and a power supply of DC 12V. The CA-DC380 is compact in size and offers a low profile and discreet security system that can cater for all indoor areas.

The 8CSDM500 surveillance package kit also comes equipped with 1 x Nuvico 8 Channel EVL-805N 500 GB digital video recorder which is able to offer high quality recording capabilities with its many features. The EVL-805N features an embedded Linux operating system, an easy to use GUI (graphic user interface), H.264 compression method, internal SATA HDD bays, as well as 1 channel audio with remote over the network, and an external USB flash drive backup support. The EVL-805N DVR also consists of watchdog/power failure recovery, multi-main outputs, triplex function, watermark, an inbuilt multiplexer, as well as RS-422/485 compatibility for use with PTZ cameras and controller keyboards. This digital video recorder is compact in size and comes complete with CMS Lite software, free DDNS support, 2 user access, firmware upgrades via USB, plus multiple PTZ protocol support and an IR remote controller which is able to control up to 99 digital video recorders.

The 8CSDM500 surveillance package kit is able to be easily installed with its 8 x 100ft rolls of combined power/video cables, 8 x wall and ceiling mounting brackets, and 1 x 8 channel 12V DC power supply which allows for easy plug and play setup; it also consists of multi-mobile platform support using Google Android, Blackberry, iPhone, and Windows Mobile which allows for easy access to the system when on the move, and comes complete with a 2 year warranty and unlimited technical support for backup assistance when required.
