The 520849001 is a security Model 972 gray reader and junction box kit from GE Security designed as a conventional wall installation incorporating a 15’ proximity reader cable, a Micro/Reader junction box, a reader, a keypad, and an installation wrench. The 520849001 security reader/junction box comes with four selectable operation modes, a 10” read range distance, the ability to read ProxLiteTM, Proximity Perfect, Entre´eTM badges, ISO ProxLiteTM and ProxLite key tags, plus is completed with reader-to-microcontroller supervised communication, and an in-built tamper detection. This quality grade CASI Model 97X reader comes with an easy installation system, a strong ABS plastic housing, and is weather resistant.

I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
