The 5024-101 from Axis is a T90C fixed dome IR-LED is an infra-red, vandal-resistant illuminator for outdoor versions of AXIS P33 Network Cameras. It enables the cameras to deliver high quality images in complete darkness. No additional items are needed for the wall-mount installation. The infrared illuminator offers eight high-power IR-LEDs providing a wide angle light beam in the 850nm wavelength. It gives the fixed dome network camera a viewing range of 20-30 meters (67–98 ft.) depending on environment and installation. The illuminator has an IP66- and NEMA 4X-rated casing, which allows it to operate in outdoor conditions. It has low power consumption at less than 13W, is strong and requires no maintenance. I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
